Thank you for stopping by to see my art. My passion is loose watercolor painting, digital painting and photography.
Sunsets, forests, animals, mountains, the ocean and the Pacific Northwest, what do these things have in common? I'm in awe of them. They take my breath away. And I capture them with my camera and share them through my art.

I have been an artist since the 1980s when I took a class to learn Tole Painting. I loved it. After a couple of years I taught classes to ladies several times a week.

In the 1990s I got a camera with a big zoom lens. My photography improved so much. I was in a local camera club and received many ribbons for the competitions that I entered.
In the early 2000s we remodeled an old garage into an art studio for me and my love of painting returned. I could combine all the above and paint the wonderful animals I liked to photograph. I think it all was a match in heaven.

In 2016 we sold our house and moved into a fifth wheel trailer and have been traveling the country. A lot of the inspiration for my paintings comes from my many adventures. If you would like to follow our adventures check out my Facebook page Mahoney Adventures
